Tester for diodes and thyristors measurement. VRRM/DRM up to 7,5kV, IFM/TM up to 5kA, dv/dt up to 4000V/ µs

Fully automatic tester is designed for diodes and thyristor measurement.
It will be used in combination with an external press for inspection of diodes and thyristors.
National Instruments’ computer manages all internal functions of the tester, communication with external – host computer and graphic user interface.

Tester’s software manage all internal functions like: setting up and execution of measurements program, check and indication of errors, step by step operation in service mode and supports calibration and scaling functions.

Ergonomic operator panel consist of 20” Touch Screen Monitor, PASS/FAIL and system status indicators, safety switches, keyboard and mouse and allows operator to control all tester functions.

Tester operating modes:
1. Manual operation without connecting to the HOST computer, and with manual setting of test conditions: Serial number of the device under test and test recipes (VRRM/VDRM, VFM/VTM, dv/dt) are entered manually by the operator. Test starts when the operator presses the START button on the operator’s panel. Results are saved in memory of tester computer.
2. Automatic operation in combination with HOST computer: Serial number of the device under test is entered automatically by the barcode reader connected to the HOST computer. Test conditions data are sent from the HOST computer to the tester’s computer. Test sequence starts when the operator presses the START button on the operator’s panel. Results are saved in tester’s computer memory, and then sent to HOST computer automatically.

TESTER measurement modules:
1. VRRM/VDRM measuring module (sine halfwave of ampl. 200÷7500V)
2. VFM/VTM measuring module (sine halfwave of ampl. till 5000A)
3. Module for measurement of thyristor resistance to dv/dt rate of voltage rise of 300V/µs to 4000V/µs
